ISU Services: a room rental platform for university students

The client
International Students Union is a consultancy and service company that has been promoting various international student mobility projects for many years.
It collaborates, among others, with the University of Verona and the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
Objective
The objective of the Students Accommodation project is the realisation of a booking engine platform that enables the management of online booking requests for student accommodation in the university environment.
The web platform
The platform we have created makes it easier for students in need of accommodation to meet landlords who provide flats or rooms through agreements with ISU.
Landlords upload their flats on the application and the students who decide to rent them pay directly online via PayPal or credit card.
User experience
Search, dedicated filters and notifications help students find accommodation that suits their needs.
Student features
Thanks to the booking engine system, students, once logged in, can search for flats, manage their profile, pay rent and check their payment history.
Landlord features
Once logged into the booking platform, landlords can manage their profile and their flats, check the availability of each bed, booking requests and payment history.
